Kenya, WHO partner to spearhead attainment of universal healthcare

The Ministry of Health is partnering with the World Health Organization to spearhead the attainment of universal healthcare in the country. Speaking ahead of the world health day to be marked on Saturday, Health Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki, said the government was keen on ensuring that all Kenyans are able to access quality healthcare. According to CS Kariuki Kenya, has already covered some milestones in offering free medicare to its citizens starting with the introduction of free maternal healthcare to the establishment of health insurance subsidy program.
